Your Tasks

The labor market units work with labor market measures for the city's citizens with the overarching goal that our job seekers find their place in studies or in the labor market. Your main task as a team leader at the Development Center is to be daily support for job seekers by supporting, guiding, and educating. You meet a broad target group of people with different knowledge levels who, by learning the profession of cleaning and other important skills, develop towards their individual goals. You are skilled at meeting individuals both to provide pedagogical guidance as well as to work in a coaching and motivating manner. For you, it is a given to support the shift from problems and obstacles to seeing one's own resources and solutions. While focusing on promoting individual development, you are responsible for the operations' tasks within cleaning. You use your sense of structure and plan independently to ensure that the operations function in the best way. You work closely with two colleagues, and together you develop working methods to meet changing needs. It is an advantage if you are used to collaborating with others as the role involves various contact points.

Your Competence

In your daily life, you meet people from different cultures with support needs related to language and individuals with varying physical and mental abilities. It energizes you to work in a role where you can make a difference for others. You have previously worked in cleaning and have a good understanding of quality and working methods in the field. You have a high school education and experience working in a guiding and mentoring capacity with a focus on employment, work, or education. It is an advantage if you have training in conversation methodology and speak more languages than Swedish and English.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
